OUR COMPANY

Prestel Avio s.r.l. was established on 1st April 2008 with the specific intent of forming a company highly specialised in producing aircraft harnesses.

Prestel Avio manufactures aircraft harnesses to mount on vehicles, as well as for land based testing equipment. Prestel Avio avails of the experience matured by Prestel Elettronica with over 20 years in the wiring manufacturing industry. Thanks to this product and process knowledge, Prestel Avio’s manufacturing site was designed to ensure the best possible production process flows, with the best available technology.

As a company in the aircraft business, Prestel Avio must have quality system certification, so that after just 5 months of the company’s start-up a certification body carried out a quality system audit, resulting in certification in compliance with UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 and AS/EN 9100:2005 standards. The company’s certification was updated in line with the new UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 standard during the first supervisory audit in June 2009. Prestel Avio was thus included in the IAQG (International Aerospace Quality Group) database in the first months of its business activities. The database groups together all the companies qualified to supply the most important players in the aircraft industry at global level.
